Which player is right for me?

Each player in the Squeezebox family gives you the same access to a limitless selection of music. Which player you choose depends on how you'll be setting it up (standalone, or connecting it to a stereo system or powered speakers).

Already have a stereo or powered speakers?

If you're purchasing a Squeezebox to add to your stereo system and you think you’ll be adding more Squeezebox players to other rooms, we recommend the Squeezebox Duet starter kit. It includes a Squeezebox Receiver that connects to your stereo system, and a Squeezebox Controller. When you add more Squeezebox players to your network, your Squeezebox Controller will automatically find them and let you control them over your wireless network.

Don't own a stereo?

If you don't have a stereo system or powered speakers, or if you'd like to bring your music to a room without a stereo, we recommend Squeezebox Radio or Squeezebox Boom. These all-in-one designed players incorporate high-fidelity speakers and simple setup.

Squeezebox—the family that works in concert

All Squeezebox products work with each other, so you can mix and match with no fear of incompatibility. Squeezebox Controller controls every Squeezebox model, and the infrared remote controls included with Squeezebox players work with any Squeezebox player with an IR sensor—Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Radio, Squeezebox Boom, and Transporter.
